Who are we?

Learn More Driving School started out as "Lee Moore", driving instructor. Just one person, me, teaching up to 50 pupils per year to learn to drive safely and pass the driving test. Then one day I had an idea, what if rather than just teach people to drive, I could manage a successful national driving school, that echoed my belief in affordable lesson rates for pupils of all backgrounds, low franchise fee's for the instructors, with my personal high standards of teaching being used by all of our instructors. Certainly no easy feat in the current economic climate.

Several years later, we have emerged as one of Greater Manchester's and the North West's most successful driving schools, running a professional operation from my office. Now we are nationally based in all major towns and cities in the UK.

The name Learn More was born when I was fiddling with my website late one evening, I removed the Lee and just had a red L plate on my site so it became L Moore driving school. Still I wasn't satisfied. I wanted a name that reflected my personal beliefs and meant something important to me.

Over a cup of coffee and probably a piece of cake, I had a brain wave. I changed the bland L plate to "Learn" and removed the extra "O" to make LEARN MORE. So Lee Moore became Learn More. A name was born, but it was more than a name. It reflected my approach nicely, while removing my personal name in the driving school damaged my ego slightly, it didn't dent my passion for quality teaching and that is reflected in our driving school name. All learn more driving instructors are passionate about teaching well. I am sure you will find this out on your first lesson.

We really believe that you should learn as much as possible with a driving instructor, as we are normally the only form of professional training that you will receive in your life time in how to drive a car safely. Our driving instructor's nationwide will set objectives with you at the beginning of each lesson, work through them all with you from a guided level through to a fully independent level. Then when you both feel ready, our instructors will take you on your driving test with a high chance of passing first time.
